Northstar Elementary and the Knoxville Community School District has announced that students at Northstar Elementary will have the opportunity to pick up their items that were left in the school when the school had to close abruptly in March due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Parents of students will be sent an email from their child’s classroom teacher which will include a link to sign up for a time to pick up student items. Northstar will have time slots available from May 18th through the 20th from 9 am to 4 pm each day. Due to social distancing guidance and restrictions, classrooms will only be available one of the three days listed. This allows the school to limit the number of people gathering to pick up items. Only students will be allowed to enter the building. If a student is not present, school staff will gather their items and give them to parents outside of the building.

3rd grade: use the Bus lanes on the south side of the building. Students will enter through the 3rd grade recess door.
4th grade: use main parking. Students will enter through the 4th grade door just south of the main entrance.
5th grade: Please park at the north end of the building. Students will enter the 5th grade (north) door.
