An event with a good chance to get to state on the Knoxville Boys Track and Field Squad was the distance medley relay. Keegan Cox, Colton Jones, Kieren Nichols, and Jordan Bacon were set to run that event. Cox tells KRLS Sports he was confident about the chances to get to the State Meet and do well.

Cox:
“We had Colton Jones, who’s really been a solid 200 runner, and I was going to be on the other 200, and Kieren Nichols went to state in the 400, and Jordan Bacon has been training all year for the 800, and I think we had a chance to place.”

Cox has had a great athletic year regardless of losing the spring season as he set the single season interceptions record this fall in football and was a part of the Knoxville Boys Basketball Squad.
