The 2020 Central cross country schedule has been released, with a similar look and feel to the 2019 schedule. Four regular season meets are on the calendar to prepare for the conference and national postseason meets. Both the men’s and women’s teams will compete at the same meets for the entirety of the season.
The Dutch will begin the season on Friday, September 4th with their home meet at the Central Cross Country Course. The following Saturday is a short road trip to Grinnell for the Les Duke Invitational.
After a few weeks off, the Dutch will leave Iowa for the first time on Saturday, October 3rd. It will be a trip to Lawrence, Kansas for the Rim Rock Classic, hosted by the University of Kansas. This is an annual meet that features schools from all divisions of the NCAA and even some junior college programs.
Two weekends later, the Dutch will conclude the regular season in the Tori Neubauer Invitational and Jim Drews Invitational, both hosted by the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.
The American Rivers Conference meet is scheduled for Saturday, October 31st and will take place in Decorah. The NCAA Central Regional Meet will be held on Saturday, November 14th in Northfield, Minnesota. The national championship meet will be held Sunday, November 22nd in Terre Haute, Indiana.
