Several emergency crews responded to a commercial vehicle crash and fire on Highway 163 in Pella at exit 40 this afternoon.

A large hauler crashed at 2:05 p.m. heading westbound, which closed those lanes of traffic between Clark and Washington Street.

Pella Fire, Pella Police, Pella Ambulance, Marion County Emergency Management, the Marion County Sheriff’s Office, and Iowa DOT have responded.
