At approximately 1:21 p.m. Sunday, the Marion County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a structure fire in the V.A. Campus located at 1515 W. Pleasant St. in Knoxville. Fire crews responded to the area and located the fire in Building 2 of the campus. Knoxville Fire and Rescue and the Knoxville Township Fire Department worked to extinguish the fire and contained the fire to one room of Building 2. Other agencies that assisted with the fire included the Marion County Sheriff’s Office, Knoxville Police Department and Pella Ambulance. It was determined that this fire was intentionally set and is being investigated by the Marion County Sheriff’s Office. If anyone has any information on this fire, please contact Lt.
