Women’s apparel store brand maurices announced a large donation to multiple rural community hospitals to support healthcare workers on the frontlines of the COVID-19 pandemic. Pella Regional Health Center Foundation was chosen to receive a donation to its COVID-19 Emergency Response Fund, as it’s among the markets that are representative of the brand’s full chain.
“We are very appreciative of this donation from maurices during this critical time in healthcare, ” said Deb Borton, Foundation Director at Pella Regional. “These funds will support the purchase of critical personal protective equipment (PPE) to protect our healthcare team, as well as other supplies needed to fight against COVID-19 locally.”
In addition, the Pella Regional Health Center Foundation is currently accepting donations of home sewn gowns and fabric masks. More information can be found at www.pellahealth.org by clicking Ways to Help Pella Regional During Covid-19 in the red bar at the top of the page. Supply donations, along with a completed donation form, may be dropped off at any Pella Regional Health Center entrance.
