Alexis and Brooke Dross of PCM will be heading to St. Ambrose University in Davenport this fall to begin college and join the women’s golf program. As twins, the two have been close together their entire lives, and they did not want that to change after high school graduation. Alexis says that was an important factor when looking at colleges, and St. Ambrose was the best fit where they could remain together.
“We’ve done a lot of things together, and I definitely would’ve been upset if we went to different colleges. We were looking at the same ones throughout the process so I kind of figured we’d go together. There was one point where we thought we were going to go to separate schools, and it was kind of emotional to me. And we’re rooming together at St. Ambrose, so that was kind of the end goal of what I wanted to happen.”
The Dross twins lost their senior seasons golfing for PCM, but will be joining a deep roster at St. Ambrose. A complete interview with Alexis and Brooke will air on tonight’s Radio Sports Page at 6:00 p.m. on KNIA/KRLS.
