The City of Indianola now has 22 confirmed cases of the COVID-19 virus inside city limits, with four other cases within the Indianola Fire District. Several weeks ago, an Indianola Safety Officer who does not live in Indianola tested positive for the virus, and has not yet been cleared to return to work, while two other safety officers were exposed to the virus and have been tested.
According to the Iowa Department of Public Health, Warren County has 87 cases with 51 of those recovered, while Marion County has 22 cases with 15 of those recovered, with neither county having any deaths from the virus.
