A video series about the athletes of Pella track and field past now includes the most recent graduates from the program.

Pella Lady Dutch Head Coach Dak Rasmussen and assistants Doug Cutler and Kari Pingel celebrated four of the members of the Class of 2020: Caroline McMartin, Ellie Roorda, Elsie Thoreson, and Tirzah Wittenberg.

The four athletes shared their favorite memories of the program, what chances for records and titles they missed out on this season, and advice for the future of Lady Dutch track and field.

At the end of the video, the four thanked the coaching staff for the impact they had on their careers. McMartin, Thoreson, and Roorda are all competing for Central College next year, and Wittenberg is heading to Northwestern College.

Tune into 92.1 KRLS this Thursday through Saturday — as that would have been the state track and field meet, and hear memories from local athletes of their time at the famous Blue Oval at Drake Stadium.
