The June 2nd primary election is less than two weeks away, however voters who wish to receive an absentee ballot to vote will need to send in an absentee ballot request form by 5pm tomorrow. Iowa Secretary of State Paul Pate sent absentee ballot request forms via mail to every active registered voter in the state in April. Primary elections are intended for members of the Republican and Democratic parties only. Anyone requesting a ballot needs to indicate on the request form which party ballot they would like to receive. For more information, visit the Iowa Secretary of State’s website.
