The Knoxville Panther Scholarship Foundation will present their 2020 Scholarship Award Ceremony tomorrow. The ceremony will take place virtually as the Foundation has created a special award ceremony video that will be broadcast on Youtube tomorrow at 9 a.m. Board President of the Foundation, Curt Froyen tells KNIA/KRLS News the Foundation wanted to do something special for the graduate even with the COVID-19 pandemic not allowing for the normal award ceremony to be held. Hey say they wanted to recognize the achievements of the Class of 2020 following their over 12 years of hard work to get to this point. Froyen says he wishes the donors who made the scholarships possible as well as himself could shake the hands of the graduates and visit with them like normal but he knew that was impossible for this year.
