Many coaches are not sure what to do after trying to get their teams ready to get the summer sports seasons underway. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many coaches will have to adhere to guidelines set forth by the local health departments and by the school to help slow the spread of the virus. Melcher-Dallas Baseball Coach Pat Ferguson will be meeting with Athletic Director Jim Crozier in the future to outline plans for what they need to follow. Ferguson says he wants to be on the same page as everybody so nothing is left to chance.

Ferguson:
“Hopefully he gives me a sheet of paper or a document of what you kids need to do and what your fans need to do. We can all get on the same page, and hopefully have a successful and safe season.”

According to Melcher-Dallas’s online schedule, the Saints season opener is June 16th at Lamoni.
