With last year bringing a lot of milestones, the underclassman of the Indianola boys track team looked at the outgoing seniors to spur them on in the offseason for this spring. Sophomore James Naughton tells KNIA Sports after a 30-year-old record was broken in the 4×100 last year as well as some other standout performances, excitement for this year could not have been higher.
“I thought we had a great year last year, and we really showed what Indianola High School students could do, and we were really looking forward to what this season would bring.”
Naughton is featured on today’s Indianola Spring Sports Spotlights. For the full interview, go to the Indianola Spring Sports Spotlights tab for the story to be posted.
