The Red Rock Ruck Club came together for Memorial Day Monday afternoon. David Robbins with the group says 15 people came out and rucked 1 and 1/2 miles in Pella, heading to the World War II Memorial at Fair Haven from City Hall and back, after a morning memorial in Oskaloosa. The main focus of the event was to remember three members of the 101st Airborne who died in combat on November 14th, 2010. A veteran in attendance was able to give details about the day in question and what led up to the end of the mission.
