According to the latest update from the City of Indianola, six new cases of the COVID-19 virus have been confirmed within city limits over the Memorial Day weekend, bringing the total within the city to 32 cases with an additional four inside the Indianola fire district. Warren County grew by 29 cases over the weekend with a total of 112 cases. According to the latest Marion County Situation Report, there are 36 cases within Marion County, with neither county having any deaths. Indianola Police Captain Brian Sher tells KNIA News it is still important to social distance and follow Iowa Department of Public Health guidelines, as it is still a contagious disease going through our area.
