Despite not getting to make the donations in person, once again, 7th graders at Pella Middle School made a large impact on the community through charitable work.
Members of the Class of 2025 taking social studies with Kristin Schulz and Donna Boots combined to give $3,010 to The Well ($1,255), The American Red Cross ($1,255), and Many Hands for Haiti ($500). Students Ally Groenendyk, Karsyn Lyons, Claire Smock, Kytilin Plate, and Aaron Dix were among the group that submitted a concession stand plan and operated a booth at various activities during the school year, raising funds for those organizations. Hear more from those students about their contribution to charity on today’s Let’s Talk Pella.
