Spanish immersion has expanded at Pella Christian Grade School over the past six years, with nearly a third of every student in the building now receiving an education that more intensely teaches the second language to K-8 students.

Director of Pella Christian Spanish Immersion Rebecca Gomez says the program will make the leap to the high school this coming fall, and will aim to keep eighth graders who have been in the program for several years to stay ahead with their second-language skills.
