The Iowa Shrine Bowl Board of Directors have cancelled the July 18th, 2020 Iowa Shrine Bowl Football Classic. In a letter to players and coaches, the group said they evaluated an event of this size, and monitored social distancing-guidelines we did not feel it would be safe to host this year’s football camp, game, parade, or banquet.

The following local seniors accepted invitations to compete in the 2020 Shrine Bowl:
Mason Huerter, Pella
Grant Hixson, Indianola
Seth Greiner, PCM
Cale Anthony, Pleasantville

The Pleasantville Dance Team was once again set to perform at the Shrine Bowl halftime showcase. The mission of the Iowa Shriners is to support the Shriners Hospital for Children, and are hopeful to make a contribution.
