Melcher-Dallas senior Angel Beaty has chosen to continue her softball career at Waldorf University. Last summer, Beaty was one of the top hitters on the Saints with a 380 batting average with 35 hits and 26 RBI. Beaty tells KNIA Sports she likes Waldorf because of the small college atmosphere and how the softball team welcomed her during her visit.

Beaty:
“It’s small, kind of like Melcher is. I won’t be jumping in from one class to another with 700 people in it. I also hit with the team and caught for one of the girls and I felt welcomed and just really loved it there.”
