With no organized team activities during the spring, many of the Indianola softball athletes did the only thing available to them to get ready for a summer season, work on their game individually. Senior Bella Bingaman tells KNIA Sports normally in the spring there is a lot of team bonding going on, but this year was obviously a little different.

“I was really disappointed we didn’t get to do the normal spring season, because we had a lot of new players come in, and usually for spring season we get to know each other when we travel. It helps us grow as a team together. But at the same time we all worked individually, and I feel I got better because I got to work with my dad and my brother.”

Bingaman is featured on today’s Indianola Spotlight. To listen to the full interview go to KNIAKRLS.com.
