The Knoxville Community School District has officially launched its newly designed website and mobile app. The website, located at www.knoxville.k12.ia.us, allows users to access important information and updates quickly. It will also be easier to track usage and make updates, expanding the district’s ability to use the website to communicate with students and families in real time.

In addition, KCSD has launched its first-ever mobile app, available for download on both iOS and Android devices. The app includes push notifications for alerts, news, events, schedule changes and more.

“We are thrilled to launch our new website and mobile app as part of our efforts to continually improve our communication and engagement with parents, staff, students and community members,” said Cassi Pearson, KCSD Superintendent. “In addition to having a fresh look and feel, the site is now much more intuitive for both the staff members updating it and the visitors browsing it. We look forward to using both our website and the app to deliver important news, updates and information moving forward.”

The new website is also now compliant with Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) guidelines.

The KCSD app is available for download on iOS devices at https://apps.apple.com/us/app/knoxville-community-schools/id1495185681, and Android devices at https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sia.KnoxvilleCommunitySchoolDistrict.
