
Court records indicate a Nebraska man arrested Friday for attempting to entice a minor had been tracked since May 27th. According to the criminal complaint, Marion County Sheriff’s Office Deputies indicate Roberto Lopez Gomez, 41, of Omaha, initiated a conversation via electronic communication with a minor female believed to be 14 years old. During the communication, Lopez Gomez is accused of requesting a meet up for sex, and he indicated he was willing to use monetary payment. Lopez Gomez was arrested without incident at the Pella Walmart in a joint effort with the Marion County Sheriff’s Office and Pella Police Department, with assistance from the Marion County Attorney’s Office, MINE Task Force, and Department of Homeland Security.
