The Pella Public Library aims to be a resource to all residents, especially those needing assistance during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Director Mara Strickler says those who need help, especially as it relates to finding resources for work or other needs, can come into their building for technology needs.

Strickler says they have a variety of resources available for those individuals at different stages in the job searching process.

The Pella Public Library is open with the following restrictions:
-Library hours are 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday. The library is currently closed on weekends.
-A maximum of 40 people, including library staff, will be allowed in the building at one time.
-Many of the seating areas will have been modified or removed. This is to encourage the “browse and go” model so that all community members may also use the library.
-Out of consideration of patrons’ health and safety, the staff will be wearing masks and gloves.
-Staff will be behind Plexiglas shields when interacting with patrons
