The Indianola Community School District 2020 graduation ceremony will take place in two weeks on June 28th. Superintendent Art Sathoff tells KNIA News the district moved away from the drive-by graduation after some feedback from students and parents.

“We are going to go ahead with some of the things that led up to the drive-in graduation in terms of getting pictures and putting together a video of a virtual ceremony. Of course we don’t know what kinds of restrictions we might be under at that time, and at that point it will be too late to try and put together a drive-in graduation. So we’ll have whatever traditional ceremony we are able to have on June 28th.”

The ceremony will take place at 1pm.
