After a spring of no sports, and speculation if summer sports would even happen, the Knoxville Softball Squad will take the field for the first time this summer with many of the girls playing their first organized sport since the winter as the Panthers open a shortened 2020 season against Southeast Warren on Monday. Knoxville is coming off a 15-13 season last year and has a new coach in Carla Smith. Senior third baseman Maddy Findley says the team is reaching high for achievements this summer including conference and a trip to Ft. Dodge. Monday’s game can be heard on 95.3 KNIA starting with the pregame at around 7:15pm.
