With a new starting pitcher, the Melcher-Dallas Softball Squad is looking to score a few more runs than last season. In 2019, the Saints were able to put up over eight runs per game. Coach Jim Crozier tells KNIA Sports freshman pitcher BrieAnna Remster will be a very good one this season but the team will need to help her out by scoring runs. Last season the Saints pitching staff compiled an ERA of 1.22. The Saints will open up Tuesday against Lamoni.
