The Twin Cedars boys and girls of summer look to start the season tonight. The Sabers will host Murray in the season opener. For the baseball squad the Sabers are coming off a 14-13 record last season. Coach Mark Schroeder tells KRLS Sports Murray is a tough opener for his team.

Schroeder:
“Murray is not going to be a fun team to play game one. They’re loaded with talent. I know there are a couple of guys their coach may throw against us. They’re good, they are going to be a tough opponent.”

The Softball squad will also take on the Mustangs. Twin Cedars is off a record setting 29-9 season last year, in which they won the Bluegrass Conference title. First pitch is scheduled for 8:00pm on the baseball and softball diamonds.
