Currently Marion County courthouse services are open by appointment only. One of those services is the Drivers Licence Department in the Marion County Treasurer’s Office. According to Marion County Treasurer Michaela Bigaouette appointments regarding drivers license services are close to three weeks out. Bigaouette says if a  resident’s license is about to expire but they are unable to get an appointment in time, they can apply for a 6-month extension of their driving privileges with the Iowa Department of Transportation.
