Rain washed out the Melcher-Dallas Baseball Squad’s home game against Moravia last night. The Saints are off to a rough start at 0-3 with lopsided losses in two of the games. The Saints are young this season so Coach Pat Ferguson has to lean on the few upperclassmen he has to help lead the team. He says Ryan and Steven Krpan along with Cole Metz are already taking that lead.

Ferguson:
“They understand the game now, they’re really getting it, they’re working well with the younger kids, again that team togetherness with the kids is excellent and my assistant coach is starting to lean on them now.”

The Saints will enjoy the weekend off before getting back at it Monday night at East Union.
