The Indianola City Council and Warren County Board of Supervisors approved the recipients of the Small Business Recovery Grants this past week, helping local small businesses with less than 30 employees with grants up to $5,000. Rachel Gocken with Warren County Economic Development tells KNIA News putting the grants together required many community organizations working for a common goal.

“We knew that there was a need for this, so I think it was really inspiring that everybody just started to figure out how to make this happen. It was a really short turnaround time to answer whether or not each community would be participating, and they went out and got it done.”
