The Marion County Board of Supervisors will meet in regular session tomorrow. The board will hold a public hearing regarding the proposed disposition of multiple County owned properties in the area locally known as the Marion County Fairgrounds to the Marion County Fair Board. They will consider a resolution making final determination regarding the disposal of real property following the public hearing. The board will hold a discussion and take action as necessary regarding  Marion County Courthouse Elevator Project contract change order as well as consider a resolution to approve fiscal year 2021 Marion County budget expense appropriations.

They will hold a discussion and take action as necessary regarding the approval of a contract to provide professional consulting services with Cost Advisory Services, Inc. covering  fiscal years 2020 through 2022. The board will consider a resolution regarding the approval of an Iowa DOT agreement for funding for the T14 paved shoulder project as well as hold a discussion and take action as necessary regarding moving the Board of Supervisors Administrative Assistant position to the Human Resources Department. They will consider multiple appointments to the Marion County Development Commission and the Marion County Board of Adjustments. The board will hold a closed session to discuss strategy with counsel in matters that are presently in litigation or where litigation is imminent. The meeting will begin at 9 a.m. and will be held via Zoom.
