Over the past month and a half steady work has gone on at the water tower next to Ken Locke Stadium in Knoxville as the tower gets a new paint job with the addition of the new Knoxville Panther Logo. According to Knoxville School’s Superintendent Cassi Pearson, the new paint job is close to completion. She says with weather permitting and if everything goes as planned the paint job with the logo included should be done in approximately two to three weeks. She says residents should see a light yellow primer begin to be applied on the tower followed by the Knoxville gold. Once the gold is completed the new logo will be added to complete the project. Pearson says the tower is an iconic symbol in Knoxville and the school district is proud to have their logo remain on it.
