While it may be hard to believe, it is the final week of the regular season for Iowa’s smaller high school summer teams.

The baseball team has three more regular season games left. They’ll host Van Meter Tuesday, host Ankeny Christian Wednesday, and travel to Martensdale-St. Mary’s on Thursday. The week concludes on Saturday when the Trojans play host to conference foe West Central Valley in the postseason opener. Pleasantville enters the week with a 3-10 record.

The softball team will play five games in four days. It starts Tuesday with a trip to Clarke, followed by a home game against Knoxville on Wednesday. Pleasantville heads to Des Moines Christian for a doubleheader on Thursday, and finishes the regular season by hosting Wayne on Friday. The Trojans enter the week with a record of 5-8.
