The City of Indianola has released a video showing the progress of the Water Resource Recovery Facility project. City Manager Ryan Waller tells KNIA News the current plant does not fit the needs of residents, and will be a benefit in the long-term.

“The current facility is over 40 years old and is certainly outdated. There is new technology and new requirements when you treat the sewage that comes through the plants. There are various levels that the DNR puts out that need to be followed, and we need this new facility to be able to accomplish that.”
