The Warren County Board of Supervisors met in regular session Tuesday. The board approved a change order for the 911 Communications Project, a proposal for an electric extension on the 911 Communications Project and gas extension service for the Warren County Justice Center with MidAmerican Energy, and a speed limit change from 45mpg to 35mph on Beardsley St./Border St. The board also met in special session to discuss alternate court facilities due to the COVID-19 pandemic, as the current court facility will not provide adequate space for appropriate social distancing. The board and Warren County Attorney Doug Eichholz discussed using the City of Indianola Parks and Rec Building as well as other county facilities; no action was taken. The board will meet again in special session to continue discussion of alternate court facilities at 2pm.
