The drivers of the USAC National Sprint Car Series will get the spotlight this weekend at the Knoxville Raceway with the Second Annual Brandt Professional Agriculture Corn Belt Nationals getting underway tonight. While the drivers may not be totally familiar to winged sprint car fans, a few have made the crossover. Brady Bacon was the winner of the inaugural Corn Belt Nationals last year and swept the weekend dominating both A-Mains. Tyler Courtney, who has raced with a wing at Knoxville in the past and this season is also one of the drivers to watch as is Kevin Thomas Jr, Chris Windom, USAC National Points Leader Justin Grant and Hall of Famer referred to as The People’s Champion Dave Darland is also planning to race this weekend. Tonight is also a weekly points event for the 360 sprint cars and tomorrow the 410s will have their points event. Catch all the action tonight on 95.3 KNIA and streamed live at kniakrls.com beginning with Live Track Side at 5:00pm and Race Night’s Live at 7:00pm. For KNIA/KRLS Sports, I’m Derek Cardwell
