Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Knoxville is gathering together to paint the church’s parking lot to create a drive-through art gallery for the community. Members of the church will draw and paint the parking lot with illustrations of various parables from the Bible.
“Art can be used as a great expression of faith for people of all ages and a meaningful way to connect with our community,” said Jill Edwards, Creative Ministries team member at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.
Groups of church members will gather to paint the stalls in the parking lot with a parable. Once the parking lot is finished, the community will be invited to come view the murals for free.
