The Marion County Auditor’s Office is wanting to remind residents and candidates of filing deadlines for the November 3rd general election. All County Ag Extension paperwork, Soil and Water Commissioner paperwork, Township Trustee Affidavit of Candidacy paperwork and the last day to file convention certificates to fill party ballot vacancies for county offices is due Wednesday, August 26th by 5 p.m. Candidates may mail completed paperwork to 214 E Main Street in Knoxville or turn in papers in person. Residents and candidates are once again reminded that the Auditors Offices is currently residing at the former East Elementary Building located 614 E Washington St. in Knoxville due to the current elevator project construction at the Marion County Courthouse.
