The western portion of Warren County has been classified as “Abnormally Dry” by the US Drought Monitor. Abnormally dry conditions mean that short-term dryness will be slowing planting and the growth of crops or pastures, with impacts of corn showing drought stress and dry soil. Much of the western portion of the state is classified as Abnormally Dry, with several areas in a Moderate Drought. Stay tuned to KNIA/KRLS for the latest weather information.
