Despite the postponement, sponsors and patrons of the Warren County Fair have continued with their support for the 2020 4-H and FFA competitions and activities this year. Organizer Jo Reynolds tells KNIA News the response from the community after the tough decision to postpone the fair has been amazing.
“We have had a tremendous response from sponsors this year. The sponsors that helped us early on before the pandemic hit, we called each of them individually and asked them if they would like their money back, if they want their sponsorships moved to next year, or would they allow us to use it this year for the 4H and FFA events. I am so pleased to say that every business we talked to said to keep the money for this year and do it for the kids.”
Reynolds also said the public will not be able to attend the competitions, however a livestream will be available. Full results will also be available on AM 1320 and 94.3 KNIA, and KNIAKRLS.com.
