The PCM baseball team began postseason play Saturday afternoon in State Center against South Hamilton. The game was suspended in the bottom of the third inning due to rain and thunderstorms, and will resume Monday.

PCM fell behind 3-0 after the first half inning of play, but steadily clawed their way back into the lead. When play resumes, PCM will have a 5-4 lead with two outs in the bottom of the third inning. The game is scheduled to resume in State Center on Monday at 5:00 p.m., with game two between West Marshall and Colfax-Mingo to follow.

The Mustang softball team will also be in action Monday, playing host to South Tama in the regular season finale. It’s a chance for PCM to pick up some steam heading into the postseason against the 2-19 Trojans. First pitch is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. in Monroe.
