The regular season is coming to a close early this week for the Class 3A and 4A baseball teams, and the Little Dutch have a road test to start the week in preparation for a postseason run.

Pella’s baseball team heads to Washington for a non-conference game in a matchup that features the 9-9 Dutch and 8-7 Demons.

Pella’s pitch staff will have to deal with a balanced Washington lineup scoring 6.3 runs per game, and the Dutch hitters will want to be patient against a Demons staff that has given up 63 walks and nine hit batters in 92 innings.
