Multiple severe thunderstorm warnings were prompted by storms that dropped heavy rain, hail, and wind across Marion and Warren Counties Tuesday night.

The KNIA/KRLS Severe Weather Action Team was on the air from 8 to 10:10 p.m. for seven different severe thunderstorm warnings impacting both Marion and Warren Counties. Five staff members contributed to on-air coverage and Weatherology meteorologists provided updates throughout the evening.

Heavy rain was also dumped across the region, with 1-4″ inches recorded in portions of Marion, Warren, Jasper, and Polk Counties
