A severe thunderstorm watch has been issued for most of central Iowa. Conditions are favorable for the development of thunderstorms capable of producing large hail and damaging winds.

The KNIA/KRLS Severe Weather Action Team is on the air for any severe thunderstorm or tornado warning for any portion of Marion and Warren Counties.
