A Pella Christian 2020 graduate and multiple-year starter on the Eagles football team has finally been able to sign a letter of intent to continue his career in college.

Jase Amelse is heading to Orange City to join the powerhouse NAIA Northwestern Red Raiders program. Amelse says he’s excited to compete at the next level and showcase years of hard work with an elite team.

“I’ve dreamed of this for so long — just college football and the atmosphere, and I just can’t wait to go,” he says.

Amelse was a two-time All-District football selection for Pella Christian, scoring 15 career touchdowns and gaining 1227 yards from scrimmage in his varsity career, racking up 162.5 tackles and 14 tackles for loss in three seasons as a starting linebacker.
