During Monday’s Knoxville School Board meeting the board received a building presentation regarding the new middle school project and the concepts and ideas being discussed regarding how the inside of the building would look and its layout. Knoxville School Superintendent Cassi Pearson tells KNIA/KRLS News for her, seeing the conceptual draws was like opening presents on Christmas morning. She says it is very exciting to see ideas come to life and have an idea as to what people will be able to see when the building is built. She says to see what will be available in the building and to see what the district will be able to do with students is amazing and she says it’s a great time to be in Knoxville.
Pearson says the architectural team designing the building layout has already met with some of the middle school staff to get their thoughts on the building and she says they will continue to gather ideas from staff and make appropriate changes.
