As collegiate athletic departments and conferences are facing major decisions due to COVID-19, the Central football team has lost two games from its schedule.

The Dutch were slated to make consecutive trips to Michigan to start the season, but those games have been cancelled. Olivet College and Kalamazoo College were the teams Central was set to face, and both are members of the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association.

The MIAA has made the decision that its fall sports will be “predominantly conference play,” prompting the cancellation of the two games involving Central.

The Dutch are now slated to start the season on Saturday, September 19th at Wartburg. As always, tune into 92.1 KRLS for every Central football game this fall.
