pleasantville-3

The Pleasantville baseball team has concluded its 2020 campaign after a postseason loss to Van Meter on Tuesday. In the shortened season, the Trojans had a staggering number of 49 players on the roster. Eight of those were seniors, and two of those seniors decided to go out for baseball for the first time in many years. Brady Wiseman and Brendan Aldrich decided that after facing tough times in the spring, they’d spend one final season playing for the Trojans in a baseball uniform. Head Coach Sheldon Card is grateful for their contribution to the team, and looks forward to seeing what they can accomplish in the future.

The two combined for only three at-bats on the season, but according to Coach Card, enjoyed their time with the team. Pleasantville finished the season with a record of 4-14.
