Five Twin Cedars Softball Players earned all-Bluegrass Conference designation this summer. Pitcher Grace Bailey along with battery-mate Riley Dunkin made the list along with Brooke Roby, Ali Mockenhaupt and Chloe Swank all earned first team designation. Bailey was second in the conference in strikeouts with 91 in 117 1/3 innings, which was the most in the BGC. Dunkin led the conference with 31 stolen bases in 33 attempts while Roby was third in the conference with 35 hits. Mockenhaupt was one of the most patient batters in the Bluegrass Conference as she was tied for second with 13 walks while Swank had a .431 batting average and was ninth in the conference. On the second team, the Sabers had Caity Reed and Chloe Durian (DUR-ee-an) received honorable mention. The Sabers finished their season at 20-6 and fell to Wayne in a class 1A regional final on Monday.
