The Indianola City Council has approved new dates for the city-wide cleanup, after the original date earlier this spring was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. City Manager Ryan Waller tells KNIA News the city was in constant contact with vendors to try and get it rescheduled.

“We continued to reach out after it was initially canceled to see what their plans are, and we heard from them last week and they indicated that they would have two weeks to pick from and it was approved by council. So we are excited about that, it’s something that we have heard a lot about from the community and we are happy to have it rescheduled.”

The city-wide cleanup will take place the week of August 30th.
